How do I send money to or request money from another TWINT user?
Case 1: You would like to send money to someone:
In the ‘Send and request’ menu, tap ‘Send money’ at the top and select the desired contact. You can also send money to numbers not saved as a contact in your phone. The next step is to determine the amount of money to be sent and decide whether you want to add an optional short message for the recipient. You can also add a photo or a GIF, or send the money transfer as a gift, whereby the recipient is shown a short animation on their screen. To do this, simply tap the corresponding symbol below. Now, all you need to do is tap the “Send money” button and you’re done.
Case 2: Someone has sent you a request for money and you would like to accept/reject their request:
Depending on the settings on your smartphone, you will receive a push notification whenever someone sends you a request for money. Once you open the TWINT app, you will see which contact or number has requested money from you. You can now accept or reject the request for payment. You also have the option here to send the recipient a short message. Afterwards, you will receive confirmation that the payment has been sent.
