How the TWINT business portal will make your life easier

 

Regardless of whether you run a farm shop, a food truck or an online shop, the new TWINT Business Portal is the control centre for all businesses that accept TWINT payments – be they payments in person, online payments or payments made using the TWINT QR code, a payment terminal or a TWINT payment link. Thanks to the TWINT Business Portal, you will soon be able to access all the functions no matter the time or your location.

  • Daily overview: on the home screen, you can immediately see the revenue generated by your store(s), the number of payments successfully made, the number of cancelled payments and the average transaction amount.
  • Transaction overview: all transactions are listed in chronological order. If you tap a transaction, you will be taken directly to the detailed view for the respective transaction.
  • Transaction details: The detailed view will provide you with all the information on the respective transaction, for example the gross amount, date and time, as well as the store, location and terminal ID.
  • Notifications: in the Settings menu, you can define whether you want to receive a notification for each individual payment. If you activate this option, you will receive push notifications in real time on your smartphone, smartwatch or tablet.
  • Role management: You can assign roles to your employees and, for example, allow someone to take over your tasks while you are on holiday.
  • Settings: in the Settings menu, you can manage your TWINT merchant account and, for example, update your contact details, add a new location or activate or deactivate notifications.

These are the basic functions of the first version that we launched in February 2025. Good news: we will be constantly working on the further development of the TWINT Business Portal and will regularly add innovative, key functions that are practical for your business and make your life easier. How do I use the TWINT Business Portal?

To be able to use the TWINT Business Portal app, you will need to have registered as a merchant with TWINT Acquiring AG. To find out how to do this, click here.

Afterwards, you will be able to download the TWINT Business Portal app and use your login details for the TWINT merchant portal to log into the app. You can also choose whether or not to use biometric authentication when you log in.

iOS users can download the app free of charge from the App Store and Android users can do the same from the Google Play Store.

With which devices can I use the TWINT Business Portal app?

The TWINT Business Portal app is available for smartphones and tablets with the iOS 15.0 (or newer) or Android 9 (or newer) operating systems.

How do I find a specific transaction in the TWINT Business Portal app?

In the TWINT Business Portal app, tap "Transactions" at the bottom of the screen to access the transaction overview.

Currently, the transactions for all stores per day are displayed grouped together for you here.

Even if you have the transaction overview open, you will be informed about new transactions in real time via push notifications. Please, however, ensure that the transaction overview is not automatically updated. Tap the screen and swipe downwards with your finger to update the overview and have the latest transactions displayed.

Should you wish to implement additional search and filter options (e.g. only transactions for a specific store or a specific period), you can use the transaction search feature in the TWINT merchant portal.

Can I also use the TWINT Business Portal app to make payments?
