Why am I being asked to confirm a payment without a defined amount?
In certain transactions, the merchant supplies the goods or provides the service before the final amount is known. One example of this is when you fill up your car with petrol at the petrol pumps. In this instance, a set amount will be reserved in your TWINT account. Once you have completed the refuelling process, the actual amount of fuel with which you have refuelled your vehicle will be charged to your TWINT account. The reserved remaining amount will be released afterwards and made available to you once again.
