Why am I being asked to check my data in the TWINT Prepaid App?

TWINT is required by law and regulatory requirements to keep your information accurate and up to date.

If an update is required, you will be prompted in the TWINT Prepaid App to confirm and update your information as necessary. This includes:

  • your first and last name,
  • your address,
  • your nationality and
  • your telephone number.

You also need to confirm that the TWINT Prepaid balance belongs to you alone and that you are the sole economic beneficiary.

Regularly checking and updating your data is for your own protection and is mandatory for all TWINT Prepaid users. Please note that this check is only performed in the TWINT Prepaid App and never via a website or similar.

If confirmation is not provided within the period specified in the app, use of your account may be restricted.
