What is the “Mobile comparison” function in TWINT and how do I use it?

In TWINT, you can compare mobile phone and Internet subscriptions directly via our partner alao and in doing so benefit from the alao best deal guarantee.

How it works:

  • Go to the “Partner functions” section in your TWINT app and select the option “Mobile comparison”. The 4 most frequently used additional functions are displayed here. You can view a complete overview of these functions by tapping “Show all”.
  • You will now be redirected to the web applications of our partner “alao”.
  • The first step is to select whether you are looking for just a mobile subscription, just an Internet subscription for your home or for a combination subscription.
  • You must now define your preferences, for example whether you would like specific roaming services for your mobile subscription or an additional TV package for your home Internet subscription.
  • Next, define which providers are to be shown in the search results and according to which criteria the results are to be sorted.
  • If an offer interests you, tap “More info” next to it to view further details on the offer.
  • Once you have found the right offer for you, tap “Next”.
  • The next step is to enter the requisite information and tap “Next”.
  • To verify your identity digitally and save you from having to go to a store in person, alao requires that you upload photos of the front and reverse sides of your identification document as well as a photograph of yourself.
  • Tap “Next” to see a summary of the contract.
  • Sign the contract digitally in the field designated for this on your display and tap “Conclude contract”.
  • Your new provider will send you an e-mail with information on the next steps to be taken, activate the service and send you the SIM card and/or modem on the date you requested.
  • The provider will take care of invoicing directly.

What is the easiest way to switch mobile network providers?

alao terminates your old contract and activates your new subscription free of charge once the old contract expires. This means that you do not have to pay double the fees.

Do I need to cancel my existing subscription first?

If you take out a new mobile subscription, alao will terminate your old contract and activate the new subscription free of charge once the old contract has expired. If you order a new home subscription, you will need to terminate the contract for your old subscription with the provider yourself.

Can I keep my telephone number when I sign up to a new subscription?

You can decide to do this. If you would like to keep your telephone number, alao will take care of the porting for you.

With whom am I concluding a contract?

alao is the digital interface between you and your new provider, and generates the contract for you. You therefore conclude the contract with your new provider. alao helps you to find subscriptions with the best terms and conditions and order them online in five minutes.

Will I have to pay any additional fees if I order my subscription via alao?

No, the opposite is in fact true. You will not find your subscription cheaper anywhere else. alao’s service is free for users, as alao receives commission from the providers for each subscription sold.
