Current phishing wave: Fraudulent messages are currently circulating, pretending that your TWINT account has been blocked. Please be careful - these are phishing attempts.

What happens if I have activated automated payments and do not have sufficient TWINT credit on the date the payment is to be executed?

If you make use of the “Pay later” option, the payment in the TWINT app will fall due 30 days after the date of purchase.

A few days before the date on which a payment is due, you will receive a notification alerting you to the fact that money will soon be debited from your account. To receive these notifications, make sure that you have activated push notifications for the TWINT app on your smartphone.

The amount owed for your purchases will be automatically charged to your TWINT account on the due date. If your account does not contain sufficient funds on the date on which the payment is due, you will receive a notification immediately after the failed attempt to collect the money, stating that the amount owed was not successfully paid.

In such an instance, you will be asked to settle the balance manually via the Pay later portal run by our partner company Swissbilling. To initiate the payment manually from the portal, simply follow these instructions.

Should you have any further questions on this topic or would like to extend your payment deadline, please contact Swissbilling directly at the following e-mail address: [email protected].
