This information is only intended for users of the TWINT prepaid app. All customers that use a different TWINT app are not affected.

The credit balance held by customers in their TWINT prepaid app is secured by default guarantees from leading Swiss banks to the extent required by law. In the event of TWINT AG becoming insolvent, customers with a TWINT prepaid app can claim their loss amount from the guaranteeing banks. This will be coordinated by a law firm mandated by TWINT AG. The terms and conditions of the respective default guarantees apply.
