Current phishing wave: Fraudulent messages are currently circulating, pretending that your TWINT account has been blocked. Please be careful - these are phishing attempts.

Why is the “Pay later” option being shown to me and how do I deactivate this service?

If you are entitled to use the Pay later function based on your age (at least 18 years old) and your place of residence (Switzerland), this option will be automatically displayed to you when making purchases from merchants that offer this service.

If you no longer want to see this option, please proceed as follows:

  • Open your TWINT app, tap on the profile icon at the top right or top left, then tap “Pay later” under “Payment settings”
  • In the menu that appears, deactivate the “Pay later” service now

If you use a TWINT app other than the TWINT Prepaid app, the procedure may differ slightly. If you have any questions, please contact the customer service of your TWINT app directly.

If you have already used the service, but no longer want to be able to take advantage of it in the future, you can have your account with our partner company Swissbilling closed. To do this, simply send an e-mail to [email protected]. Please note that any amounts owed for past purchases must be paid on schedule, even though you have deactivated this service.
