What is TWINT ID and how can I use it?

TWINT ID is your centralised customer profile which makes online shopping, for example with TWINT Express Checkout, simpler and faster for you.

With TWINT ID, you only need to enter your contact details and shipping address(es) once to ensure you can make purchases online securely with a single click of a button. You create your personal customer profile (TWINT ID) once and never have to fill out an order form again, provided that TWINT Express Checkout has been integrated into the online shop.

  1. Open the menu and tap “Create TWINT ID”.
  2. Enter your date of birth, a shipping address, your e-mail address and your telephone number. If you use the TWINT prepaid app, which is issued by TWINT AG, your saved data will be entered automatically and all you have to do is check this to make sure it is correct. If any of the data is incorrect, please follow these instructions to amend it.
  3. Accept the GTC and the Data Privacy Statement.

If you so wish, you can create an avatar and a username and enter additional contact details and addresses.

The use of TWINT ID is free and optional.

TWINT ID will be gradually rolled out in every TWINT app, but will be operated by TWINT AG – your bank cannot view your TWINT ID data.  Should you not be able to find TWINT ID, please contact the Customer Service team for your TWINT app.
