How does paying using the QR code displayed on the parking ticket work?
In selected car parks, you can use a QR code to pay for your parking ticket. This will save you from having to walk to the ticket machine.
How it works:
- Scan the QR code on the parking ticket that you received upon driving into the car park. You can scan the ticket at any time – in theory, immediately after driving into the car park.
- You will now be forwarded to the Parking WebView of Digitalparking in your Internet browser
- Tap “Pay for ticket”.
- You will now be asked on a one-time basis to save TWINT as the payment method for the merchant “Parkingpay-TWINT”. Please confirm this and then tap “Complete save process”.
- When driving out of the car park, insert the ticket as usual in the reading slot on the barrier. Upon doing so, the amount due will then be automatically charged to your TWINT account.
