How can I share my location for TWINT partner functions?

To use some of the partner functions, such as parking and refuelling, you need to activate location services on your smartphone.

On iOS

Step 1: General activation of location services

  • Go to the Settings menu on your smartphone
  • Click ‘Privacy’
  • Activate the location services

Step 2: Activating the location services for the browser

  • Navigate to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Privacy’ -> ‘Location Services’ on your smartphone and then tap on your preferred browser (e.g. Safari)
  • Select ‘While Using the App’

On Android

Step 1: General activation of location services

  • Go to the Settings menu on your smartphone
  • Use the search function on your smartphone here to search for ‘Location’, ‘Show location’, or ‘Location access’
  • Activate Location access

Step 2: Activating the location services for the browser

  • Tap ‘App permission’ and then on your preferred browser (e.g. Chrome)
  • Activate Location permissions for the browser

Please note that the activation of the geolocation function may differ on each end device. For more precise instructions, please follow the instructions set out in your smartphone’s operating manual.
