Can I pay for parking with TWINT if there is no TWINT QR code on the parking meter?
To find out, proceed as follows:
1. If there is a QR code (from TWINT or another provider) on the parking meter
- Open your TWINT app and tap on ‘Pay’.
- Scan the QR code with your TWINT app
- If you are redirected to the ‘Parking’ function, you can pay for parking with TWINT. Select the parking zone on the map to start the parking time. You can find more details here.
- If you are not redirected to the ‘Parking’ function, continue with step 2.
2. If there is no QR code on the parking meter
- You can use the ‘Parking’ function to check whether you can pay with TWINT at your parking location.
- To do so, open your TWINT app and follow the instructions here.
