Can I pay with TWINT outside Switzerland?

You can send money to other TWINT users and make payments to Swiss online shops regardless of your location.

Payments with TWINT can only currently be made in CHF and only in businesses and shops within Switzerland.

We are, however, working closely with providers in other countries to develop an international and multi-currency solution. Whether TWINT can be used with a non-Swiss mobile phone number or a non-Swiss residence is determined by the respective TWINT app issuer. You can find further information about the TWINT Prepaid app here. If you use a different TWINT app, please contact the issuer of your TWINT app.
