Why do I have to scan the QR code with the TWINT app for a product promotion with cashback?

Only TWINT compatible and verified QR codes can be scanned with the TWINT app. This gives you the assurance that it is a TWINT verified campaign. In addition, the cashback is paid out in the TWINT app.
