Current phishing wave: Fraudulent e-mails are currently circulating in the name of TWINT requesting confirmation for a supposedly new device registration abroad. Please be careful – these are phishing attempts.

Do I need to include an imprint in my online shop?

If you would like to offer TWINT as a payment method in your online shop, there must be a correct and complete imprint on your website. It is essential that every TWINT user can always identify from where they are purchasing goods and with which party they are entering into a purchase agreement.

To ensure that we can approve your account for payments, the following requirements must be met:

  • The imprint must be clearly visible on your website to all customers
  • The company data saved in the TWINT merchant portal must match the company details listed in your imprint
  • The company details must be complete and contain at least the following information:
    • First name and surname for partnerships and sole proprietorship, or full company name for companies registered in the Commercial Register (including legal form)
    • Address of your company (a PO Box address is not a valid address for service and is therefore not sufficient)
    • Your e-mail address
