The checkout process will be reduced to 2 steps. This is particularly useful if your customers often shop or place orders with you – for example, buying food or public transport tickets in your app, or paying subscription fees. The amount will be debited automatically, so your customers don’t need to do anything.
Your customers expect a seamless shopping experience. A single click more or less can be the decisive factor in whether a purchase is made or not. User on file optimises the checkout process and makes it as easy as possible for your customers to pay for their purchases or subscription fees.
In the TWINT app, your customers can see at a glance who they have authorised to debit payments automatically. They can manage the direct debit authorisations themselves and add or remove merchants.

If you collect regular payments or subscription fees, we recommend option 1.
Requirements for automated payments
- Your online shop or app is suitable for 1 of the 2 user-on-file options
- You have signed a payment service agreement with TWINT Acquiring AG and/or one of our integration partners
- You pass the credit check that we carry out when you submit your application
- Your customers are able to delete TWINT as a payment method in your online shop or app at any time
- You inform your customers in good time before their subscription is automatically renewed
