How secure is my data in the TWINT merchant portal?

The security of your data is important to us. For this reason, the TWINT merchant portal can only be accessed via a password and SMS token (mTAN), which is why we require every portal user to provide a valid e-mail address and mobile phone number. The e-mail address is also used as the login name and can therefore only be used once. The mobile phone number does not have to be unique.

In order to avoid complications in the future, TWINT will verify the contact data you have provided by sending out an activation code during the registration process. A company may authorise multiple users.
