How is my money transferred to the TWINT app?
Instant top up
With the TWINT prepaid app, the ‘instant top up’ function allows you to load credit to your account immediately and thus ensures that you have digital cash at all times. You can make use of the following payment options:

Comment: Amounts of CHF 200 and over are always subject to a waiting period (up to 4 working days).
You can buy credit codes at Swiss Post as well as at Coop supermarkets, Coop Bau+Hobby and Coop City (food and non-food). Simply scan the QR code and your credit will be immediately available in your app.
There are a number of TWINT apps available that can be connected to your bank account and are thus an alternative to using the instant top up function in the prepaid app.
Topping up with a waiting period
With a waiting period of up to four working days regardless of the top-up amount, you can top up your credit (via direct debit) with a number of other banks.
To do this, select ‘Deposit slip’ in the ‘Top up credit’ menu. Complete the form and you will subsequently receive your personal deposit slip via e-mail. Order your bank to execute a payment in e-banking.
You can also set up a standing order or use the deposit slip on multiple occasions. You will receive a notification as soon as the money is received by TWINT. This generally takes up to three working days and then the amount will be credited to your TWINT account.
Alternatives without a waiting period
By establishing a direct connection between TWINT and your bank account, you can top up your credit straight from your bank account.
