Who are you?
We are the Marketing team. We take care of the TWINT brand and all of the communications about TWINT. Our team includes experts for branding, campaigns, content, in-app messaging, data analysis, customer insights, social media, digital marketing, media relations and much more. We also work together with a network of specialists and agencies.
What is the most exciting thing about your work?
TWINT is innovative and there are constantly new functions, partners and promotions, about which we inform our customers. The TWINT brand is considered to be one of the most dynamic brands in Switzerland and is constantly growing. Half of the population of Switzerland is already using TWINT. Working for a brand that everyone knows and is ubiquitous throughout the country is great fun. However, we also need to remain innovative at all times and look for new ways of telling the TWINT story. In this respect, it is helpful that we are in very close communication with our users and partners.
How would you describe your collaboration with TWINT?
In the Marketing team, we work in a very cross-functional manner. Although everyone has a specialisation in their individual roles, we all also employ a generalist mindset in order to achieve our collective goals. In most of the projects and campaigns, we work together with colleagues from other departments, e.g. Product, Sales, IT or Operations. We meet our colleagues on a regular basis in the cross-functional vertical meetings.
How is the working atmosphere at TWINT different to that of other companies?
TWINT is not a bank and is also not a traditional IT company. We grow quickly, as we are constantly setting new challenges for ourselves and are never happy with the status quo. This only works if everyone in the team takes responsibility beyond the traditional job descriptions and all of the colleagues trust each other to a high degree. If we succeed in doing this and are able to measure our successes, we then celebrate them together and everyone is aware of the contribution they each made.
What motivates you to work with TWINT ?
Within just a few years, TWINT has transformed into one of the most popular brands in Switzerland. Seeing how TWINT makes a difference to the everyday lives of the people around us is just great. However, the great feedback that we receive from customers, users of the app and merchants is what motivates us in particular. We also draw motivation from the many different personal stories of how TWINT has helped to make the everyday lives of people much easier. We would not be here if it wasn’t for the large number of suggestions, ideas and constructive criticism provided by our customers.
