FAQ: Experience vouchers with TWINT

What is the “Gift experience” function in TWINT+ and how do I use it?

In TWINT+, you can purchase gift vouchers, for example for a wellness weekend or a wide range of other leisure activities, directly via our partner Idea Creation GmbH and its e-surprise platform. Alternatively, you can also purchase a voucher that can be redeemed at any of the participating companies.

How it works:

  • Open your TWINT app and tap the “TWINT+” tile
  • Tap “Give experiences as a gift” and you will be forwarded to the “e-surprise” web application of our partner Idea Creation GmbH in your Internet browser
  • The offers are split into categories and regions
  • Tap the offer in which you are interested
  • You will now see a detailed description of the corresponding offer
  • Depending on this description, you can now personalise the offer, for example the length of your stay in the wellness hotel you selected
    You will now be asked to enter the relevant details for the personalised voucher (name and personal message), where required, as well as your own e-mail address
  • Now tap “Pay”
  • You will now be taken back to the TWINT app where you can confirm the payment.
  • The voucher will be sent to you shortly via e-mail

How long will it take until I receive the voucher (delivery time)?

You will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a download link immediately after you have made the purchase. Please check your spam folder. Should you not have received the e-mail, please contact the e-surprise Customer Care team.

Under the “My orders” menu item, you can also open the acquired voucher as a PDF document at any time.

How is the voucher redeemed?

The recipient, or voucher holder, redeems the voucher directly with the event organiser. The contact details can be found on the voucher. Partial redemptions are also possible.
Depending on the experience, advance reservation (by telephone, e-mail or via the website of the event organiser) may be advised on the voucher, stating the voucher code. Reservations cannot be made through e-surprise.

How long is my voucher valid for?

The vouchers are valid for two years from the date of purchase.

What happens if I am unable to participate on the day of the event?

The cancellation policy of the respective service provider applies. Contact the event organiser directly. The contact details can be found on the voucher printout.

Can a voucher be exchanged?

An experience voucher can be converted to a credit voucher. To do so, contact Customer Support directly in the TWINT app under “Give experiences”. However, cancellations are not possible.
