Will I receive personal data when a transaction is made via the QR code sticker or are payments anonymous? 

As a general rule, incoming payments made via the “basic QR code sticker” are anonymous. Thus, merchants do not receive any information about the person making the payment (e.g. mobile phone number or name). It is also not possible to leave a comment or similar when making the payment.

With our “QR code sticker with payment information” solution, merchants have the option to include certain text fields (such as the name and address of the customer or the payment purpose) in the payment process. In so doing, merchants can decide which fields are optional and which fields must be filled in by the buyer in order to complete the payment.
