To find out the limits for the TWINT app offered by your bank, please contact the TWINT Support team of your respective bank.
There are different limits in force for the TWINT prepaid app. These limits are required by law or we have introduced them for your own protection.
In some instances, these limits may contradict each other. Where this is the case, the lower limit applies. Example: Although a user may top up and receive CHF 10,000 in their account, the maximum credit they can have in their TWINT account at any one time is CHF 3000.
All of the limits are saved in our system. Were a transaction to exceed a limit, the system would automatically reject it.
Maximum credit
The credit available in your TWINT prepaid account must never exceed CHF 3000. Top-ups and incoming payments that would cause this limit to be exceeded will be automatically rejected.
Topping up and receiving credit
Adult users aged 18 and over can top up and receive a maximum of CHF 10,000 per calendar month*
Underage users aged 15 and over can top up and receive a maximum of CHF 800 per calendar month.*
Underage users aged between 12 and 15 can top up and receive a maximum of CHF 300 per calendar month.*
