How do I send money to or request money from another TWINT user?

Sending money

Case 1: You would like to send someone money:

Tap the “Send” menu item (iOS users can also use the widget to do this) and define the amount of money to be sent. Afterwards, select the desired contact. You can also send money to a person you have not saved as a contact – all you need to do is enter the recipient’s mobile phone number. Optionally, you can also add a short message, a photo or a GIF to the money transfer. You can also send the money as a gift, whereby the recipient is shown a short animation on their screen. To do this, simply tap the corresponding symbol below. Now, all you need to do is tap the “Send money” button and you’re done. If, after having sent the money, you receive a message in the app stating that it has not been possible to transfer the money and we will try again in the next 4 days, please be patient. If the money cannot be credited to the recipient within 4 days, you will be automatically refunded. Alternatively, you can also contact the recipient and, where necessary, cancel the pending money transfer.
