What is the difference between the basic QR code stickers and QR code stickers with payment information?

Text fields
With QR code stickers with payment information, merchants have the option to include specific text fields (such as the name and address of the customer or the payment purpose) in the payment process. In so doing, merchants can decide which fields are optional and which fields must be filled in by the buyer in order to complete the payment.

Amounts and notifications
QR code stickers with payment information are only available as QR code stickers with a freely selectable amount. Basic QR code stickers are also available for fixed amounts. Furthermore, only notifications via e-mail are offered for successful transactions made using QR code stickers with payment information so that merchants can receive all of the correct information in a clearly laid out format. In the case of basic QR code stickers, notification by SMS is also possible. All transactions can be viewed in the TWINT merchant portal.

Fees
In addition to the payment fee, which is 1.3% of the transaction amount for the basic QR code sticker from TWINT AG, there is an additional fixed charge of CHF 0.30 for each transaction made via QR code stickers with payment information for the optional notification fields.
