How can I save or deactivate TWINT as a payment method?

Save:

In some apps and online shops, you can save TWINT as a payment method during the payment process, thus allowing you to pay quicker. In future, you will thus automatically pay with TWINT in the app in question – for example the SBB app – or the relevant online shop.

If a merchant offers this option, you will be asked during the payment process whether you would like to activate automated payments with TWINT.

Deactivate:

You can cancel this authorisation at any time under your TWINT app’s settings.

To do so, please take the following steps:
Open your TWINT app, tap the three dots or three lines in the top-right or top-left corner, then “Payment settings” and “Automated payments”. Here, you will see an overview of the merchants with whom you have saved TWINT as a payment method and you can now deactivate any of these merchants.

If you use a TWINT app other than the TWINT Prepaid app, the procedure may differ slightly. If you have any questions, please contact the customer service of your TWINT app directly.
