As a foreign merchant, am I also able to offer TWINT?

If your company does not have a Swiss branch, only the payment service provider Adyen currently has the necessary authorisation to activate TWINT as a payment method in your Swiss online shop. If very high sales volumes are expected in your online shop (with a foreign address), you can have a TWINT connection reviewed directly by the provider Adyen. More information on this type of connection and the partner’s contact details can be found via the following link:

In addition, we are working closely with providers in other countries to develop an international and multi-currency solution. You can learn more about this by following us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram. Further information on this project is also available at

For further information, please contact your payment provider.
