As a foreign merchant, am I also able to offer TWINT?

If your company does not have a Swiss branch, only the payment service provider Adyen currently has the necessary authorisation to activate TWINT as a payment method in your Swiss online shop. If very high sales volumes are expected in your online shop (with a foreign address), you can have a TWINT connection reviewed directly by the provider Adyen. More information on this type of connection and the partner’s contact details can be found via the following link: https://www.adyen.com/en_GB/payment-methods/twint

In addition, we are working closely with providers in other countries to develop an international and multi-currency solution. You can learn more about this by following us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram. Further information on this project is also available at https://empsa.org/.

For further information, please contact your payment provider.
