Emergency aid for Ukraine

Ukraine Flag

The solidarity shown by the TWINT community in light of the tragic crisis in Ukraine has been overwhelming. Working together with our partner RaiseNow and the various aid organisations, more than CHF 4 million has been raised for emergency aid since the launch of the donation campaign.

Since the start of the campaign, we have also fielded a wide range of questions on how the donations will be used as well as on transaction fees. Further information on donations made via TWINT is available in our FAQ on the topic: FAQ – questions and answers on donations in TWINT as well as on the RaiseNow website and the websites of the various aid organisations.

Surplus revenues from TWINT transaction fees as part of the Ukraine campaign are being directed back into the campaign or donated.

Here at TWINT, we have been deeply affected by the situation in Ukraine and the suffering of the people. That is why we are firmly committed to making the fund-raising campaign for Ukraine as successful as possible. For example, we are investing a five-digit amount into spreading the campaign over other media and helping aid organisations collect additional donations. The costs involved far exceed the revenue generated by TWINT. In addition, the TWINT employees and management team launched their own donation campaign for emergency aid in Ukraine immediately after the onset of the crisis, in which the company will match the amount donated by employees.

We would like to express our sincere thanks for the immense solidarity and concern shown by our community and call on everyone to support the aid organisations involved with a donation.
